Metrics Reporter

The Metrics Reporter plugin generates collection usage and web metrics reports from the data recorded by the Metrics Recorder plugin.

In this initial preliminary release, Metrics Reporter reports data in two ways:  via a "Collection Usage Metrics" page available from the Collection Administration menu, and by adding two usage activity psuedo-fields to resource records.  The usage metrics page provides a list of the most-viewed full record pages, and the two psuedo-fields report the number of views for a resource's full record page and the number of click-throughs for the resource URL.

Display of the Full Record Views or Resource URL Clicks psuedo-fields may be controlled via privileges or positioned in the list of fields just like any other metadata field. If enabled for Advanced Search, they can also be used when search for resource records (e.g. enter > 25 for Full Record Views to find resources that have had their full record pages viewed more than 25 times).
