Is there a way via a plugin or other existing mechanism to export a set of resources to pdf or print them directly from CWIS. Preferably resources obtained from a search.

Unfortunately, there is not a plugin or other mechanism intended for printing or exporting a list of resourcs to PDF. We've implemented printer-friendly formatting on some of our CWIS-based sites, but what needs to be done for that is usually specific to the interface (theme).
The approach I'd take to get a list of resources in a PDF would probably be to increase the number of search results displayed per page (via Preferences), run the search, and then print the search results page to a PDF from my browser, with the "Print Background" option selected to make it easier to read.
Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry to hear there's no feature that allows this, though your idea to print the webpage with the search results might serve my purpose. Perhaps improve readability with a css stylesheet for print if I don't like the way it's formatted by default. Will try this idea. Thanks again
